Hi! We are Jamie and Ian, the team behind Alberni Adventure Gear, an outdoor gear rental business based in Port Alberni on Vancouver Island. We offer camping and backpacking gear rentals, with ready to go bundles designed to make getting outside easy.

I grew up camping all over the West Coast and spent many years living in Tofino, where I developed a deep love for coastal adventures. Ian’s an avid surfer and is always happiest near the ocean.

We’re parents to three outdoor-loving kids, so we know how much work it can take just to get everyone out the door. That’s exactly why we started this, to make getting outside simple, without the stress.
