Hi! We are Jamie and Ian, the team behind Alberni Adventure Gear.

I’m a mom, a registered nurse, and someone who has always loved outdoor adventures.

I grew up tent camping all over the West Coast with my parents and two sisters. The kind of rugged, unplugged trips that stick with you. Later, I spent four unforgettable years living in Tofino, where I met my husband, learned to surf, and fell even more in love with island life.

These experiences shaped my passion for the outdoors and inspired me to start Alberni Adventure Gear. We started this business to make it easier for people to enjoy the beauty of Vancouver Island without the hassle of hauling or buying gear. Whether you're hiking a peak, camping on the coast, or exploring the Island, we make it easy with ready to go bundles and helpful add ons.
